Hardware and Digital Design Engineer
Project tasks:
- Supporting the development of several pre-production systems for engine control and enhanced vibration testing.
- Development of system kit schematics including PCBs, enclosure(s), cabling, and transport case.
- Design work associated with vibration and temperature sensors.
- Development of prototype circuits.
- Mechanical design for mounting sensors.
- Recording and documenting design decisions
Skills required:
Hardware: Practical skills necessary to design, fabricate, integrate, bring-up and test hardware systems, in low volumes, baseband/low frequency low noise analogue design.
Digital Circuit Design: Design, simulation, and test of digital circuits including microprocessors, SoCs, FPGAs, DSPs, high speed memory, serial interfaces, glue logic and power management functions.
